The Cowboys beat out some blue-blood competition to secure their second commitment in the 2025 class.

Jaylan Beckley, a 6-foot-5, 305-pound offensive lineman from Addison, Texas, committed to Oklahoma State on Friday over offers from Clemson, Oklahoma, Georgia, Florida, LSU, Texas A&M and others. Beckley joins Idabel athlete Matrail Lopez as OSU’s earliest commitments in the class.

“God has been so incredibly good to me and my family,” Beckley wrote in his announcement post. “This road hasn’t been easy, but it’s been filled with so much reward and so many good memories. I’m extremely grateful for my relationship with Coach (Charlie) Dickey and the faith he’s had in me. Coach (Mike) Gundy, Coach (Zach) Allen, and all of the staff at OSU make me feel at home. With that being said, I would like to announce my commitment to Oklahoma State University!! GO POKES!!”

Beckley, a three-star prospect, is the No. 559 player in the 247Sports Composite rankings, which list him as the No. 32 interior offensive lineman in the class and the No. 96 player from the state of Texas.

Beckley primarily played right tackle at Trinity Christian Academy this past season. He also played a little bit of defense, recording three tackles.

He was previously committed to Clemson, committing to the Tigers in late January after a visit before reopening his recruitment at the beginning of March. He has an official visit to Stillwater scheduled for April 26, but the Cowboys were able to secure his commitment before then.
