Former Four-star DE Transferring to Iowa Western
Louis Brown, a former four-star defensive end signee from Burton, Texas, was left off the spring roster indicating he would likely transfer away from the program. It’s all but official now: Louis Brown is transferring to Iowa Western Junior College. He’s also changed his twitter bio to “Iowa Western Football Signee.”

According to the athletics website, the football team holds a No. 3 national ranking in the NJCAA standings. Iowa Western has produced solid talent through the program in talent such as Jake Waters (Kansas State), and has sent 73 players to the Div. I level according to their website. So perhaps Brown, a promising prospect in the 2014 class who had offers from Texas, Baylor, Nebraska, Notre Dame and many others, can spend some time at JUCO and make his way back up to Div. I.
