Report: Braylin Presley Has Rejoined Oklahoma State’s Football Team

The Cowboys are now back up to two Presley brothers.

Braylin Presley has rejoined the Cowboys, according to a report by Ben Hutchens of The Oklahoman. The wide receiver/running back started his career at Oklahoma State in 2022 before transferring to Tulsa where he spent the last three seasons.

According to the report, his father Arthur Presley told The Oklahoman that Presley had enrolled on Wednesday and will practice with the Cowboys on Monday. This was made possible due to a court order that gave Presley and seven other in-state athletes a temporary restraining order to allow for an extra season of eligibility.

Presley appeared in seven games for the Cowboys as a freshman in 2022, catching five passes for 26 yards. He also rushed twice for three yards and returned one kick for 19 yards. He overlapped that one year with is older brother Brennan Presley, who played at OSU from 2020-24 and ended as the Cowboys’ all-time leader in receptions.

Following his freshman season, Presley transferred to Tulsa where he appeared in 35 games and caught 38 passes for 310 yards and touchdown. He also rushed for 261 yards and two scores and returned 11 kicks for the Golden Hurricane over three seasons.

The temporary restraining order came from Cleveland County Judge Thad Balkman in September and was part of the NCAA’s Five-for-Five Rule, which was approved this summer. All eight of those athletes were part of the 2022 high school graduating class, and it is being argued that they were excluded from the rule that allows student athletes to play five season from the time they graduate.

Braylin Presley joins his younger brother Braeden Presley, a true freshman safety for the Cowboys. The youngest Presley made one appearance so far, playing against Murray State without recording any stats. All three Presley brothers were stars for Bixby High School.
