Decision Coming Soon for Five-star Collin Sexton

Five-star guard Collin Sexton, the No. 10 overall prospect in the country is set to make his college decision soon, according to a report from ESPN’s Jeff Borzello.

Sexton is widely regarded as one of the top shooting guards in the 2017 class, and brings a versatility both as a shooter and as a ball handler.

The Mableton, Georgia native, exploded onto the scene in the last six months after entering the summer as a largely unknown and unheralded recruit. Before he was a household name, however, Alabama head coach Avery Johnson and his staff were all over him – which could be rewarded in a major way. The Crimson Tide are considered the favorite in his recruitment.

Sexton made visits this fall to Kansas, Oklahoma State, NC State and Alabama – his top four schools he was focused on in his recruitment.

He is expected to make his decision during the early signing period, which begins on Nov. 9.

At this time, it appears OSU is in the mix but likely on the outside looking in. But with recruiting being as unpredictable as it is, you never know if a crazy twist in the road could alter his decision. OSU will be in it until the end and landing a top 10 prospect would be a major feat for first year head coach Brad Underwood.
