6’11 Center Gorjok Gak Released from Letter of Intent

Oklahoma State’s big man signee for the 2016 recruiting class, Gorjok Gak has been released from his letter of intent and will open his recruitment up.
I have just received my release from Oklahoma State University, and have re-opened up my recruitment.

It’s no surprise that he’ll look elsewhere to play his college ball. His coach told The Oklahoman last week that he was likely to ask for his release, citing his relationship with Travis Ford as the main reason for his original commitment.
The Cowboys have several other prospects who remain committed, including point guard Thomas Dziagwa, shooting guard Lindy Waters III, small forward Cam McGriff.
Gak was seen as more of a project prospect, so the news may not be as big a blow as it sounds. With Phil Forte returning, it would appear the scholarship count is even with Gak’s departure.
