Isaiah Miranda was reportedly set to consider Oklahoma State should he withdraw from the NBA Draft. Now it’s officially time the Cowboys step into the picture.

Miranda on Wednesday formally withdrew from the NBA Draft, and he now has an Oklahoma State visit scheduled. Andrew Slater reports that he has scheduled a visit to Stillwater starting Sunday. A 7-foot-1, 205-pound center, Miranda joined NC State at the spring semester this past season but didn’t play for the Wolfpack before declaring for the draft and entering his name into the transfer portal.

After reclassifying from the 2023 class, Miranda was the No. 45 player in the 2022 recruiting class with offers to USC, Louisville, Memphis, Texas, UCLA and others. This isn’t the first time OSU has been involved with Miranda, as he picked up an OSU offer in July of 2021 before ultimately ending up at NC State.

Mike Boynton and Co. have had to rework the Cowboys’ frontcourt this offseason with the transfer portal departures of Kalib Boone (UNLV), Moussa Cisse (Ole Miss) and Tyreek Smith (SMU). Should Boynton be able to land Miranda, Miranda would join a frontcourt that includes incoming McDonald’s All-American Brandon Garrison and Jacksonville transfer Mike Marsh.

Boynton still has two available scholarships, though he could save one to cover OSU’s NCAA sanctions.
