Social Media Reaction to Oklahoma State’s Overtime Bedlam Win
On Saturday, OSU earned a signature win against its rival in spite of a record-setting performance by John R. Wooden Award favorite, Trae Young.
So let’s rehash all the clutch shots and controversial plays through the lens of social media. Here’s a look at some of the best posts to come across my timeline during Bedlam.
I think he was telling his team, "#LetsWork": Mike Boynton slaps the floor with 30 seconds left in OT. #Bedlam #okstate pic.twitter.com/5RTuLmVRBW

It would be awesome if the @OSUPaddlePeople had a wall to smash for basketball games too

The Trae Young-Lindy Waters history was a constant point of emphasis during the broadcast.
I keep hearing it and there's definitive proof of it but I don't believe it

Speaking of those two, this could have gotten dicey had OSU not pulled out the win. There is no 2-minute report in college, I’m sorry to say. Because I would have liked to have seen the refs’ explanation for this call.

Poor call on Lindy Waters’ block of Trae Young’s shot. All contact was made by Young’s off arm, and Waters went straight up. Clean block, refs missed it. Unfortunate for OSU.

There were those clutch shots.

And apparently some close calls.
I was just assaulted by the FuzzBlaster t-shirt gun. I will be pressing charges. My demands are simple: I want the palm tree from Murphys.

But regardless of your thoughts on OU points guard Trae Young, real definitely recognizes real, as the kids say.
@TheTraeYoung shows great class in shaking hands with the legend Eddie Sutton. #Bedlam pic.twitter.com/nh97V0KmOy

Man…that was an ugly finish for the Sooners. Game never should’ve gone to OT. Sooners Big 12 championship hopes die in Stillwater of all places.

But this fella barely survived.
Wasn’t a good idea to be in GIA today without your blood pressure medicine… pic.twitter.com/7t34mV2fpB

The Cowboys may have convinced Trae Young to forego any further Bedlam matchups but there’s one Sooner that will be back in GIA again and again.
Manek is going to be so easy to hate the next 3 years

This is great… and true.
Mike Boynton opened his presser joking that #okstate can’t stop giving up career highs. pic.twitter.com/mY8gmtm4K3
