Jared Rosholt Picks Up Unanimous Decision over Valdrin Istrefi
Former Cowboy Heavyweight Jared Rosholt picked up a dominant unanimous decision on Thursday over Valdrin Istrefi in the Pro Fighters League debut in NYC.
PFL has an interesting format. MMA Junkie describes it as this.
Fighters will earn points in the regular season, then be seeded in the playoffs this fall. At a year-end event, playoff winners in six weight classes will win $1 million each. [MMA Junkie]

Rosholt dominated most of the fight consistently taking down Istrefi and grounding out punches to pick up the decision. The fight was actually streamed on their Facebook page and you can pick up the replay of Jared’s fight at about the 2:27 mark.
Luckily, it didn’t impact the outcome of the fight but there was some controversy over the scorecard. Jared clearly dominated, but one judge scored it close. No word on when Jared’s next fight is.
