Oklahoma State Opens as 15-Point Favorite Over Kansas in Week 5
The Cowboys open as a big favorite for their trip to Lawrence.
Another week, another opening line that favors the orange and black.
According to lines from VegasInsider.com, the Cowboys are a 15-point favorite to take down Kansas in Week 5 on Saturday. They face the Jayhawks in Lawrence, the first road game of the season.
OSU is coming off a baffling loss to Texas Tech on Saturday in which it was blown out by the Red Raiders, 41-17, in Stillwater to open league play. But KU could be a confidence-builder, as the Jayhawks, again, appear to be a conference cellar-dweller.
Kansas is 2-2 on the season but was blown out 26-7 by Baylor to open conference play this week. The Jayhawks have won at Central Michigan and against Rutgers, both in dominant fashion, but against OSU it will have its hands full — and OSU will be plenty motivated to prove its loss to Tech was a fluke.
Oklahoma State is 2-2 against the spread this season and 1-2 against the spread as the favorite.
