It came out a few weeks ago that the Browns were looking to shop Ogbah after Cleveland acquired Olivier Vernon in the Odell Beckham Jr. deal. On Monday morning, Adam Schefter tweeted that Ogbah didn’t report to the Browns’ offseason program today in anticipation for a trade, and here it is.
At Oklahoma State, Ogbah had 133 tackles and 28 total sacks, the fourth most sacks in school history. His 26 career quarterback hurries tops OSU’s career lists.
Ogbah was named an All-American after the 2015 season where he had 64 total tackles, 17.5 tackles for loss and 13 sacks. He was the Big 12’s Defensive Player of the Year that season. In 2014, he was the Big 12’s Defensive Lineman of the Year. He made the All-Big 12 first team both of those seasons.
