Steve Lutz and Keiton Page were active on Thursday night, dolling out a few offers to in-state juniors.

Parker McDaniel (South Central Prep) and Keaton Murry (Putnam City-North), both members of the 2028 class, announced that they had received offers from Oklahoma State. Here’s a little bit about each guy.

Parker McDaniel

McDaniel is a sharpshooter.

Across 17 games with Southern Assault on Adidas’ 3SSB circuit, McDaniel averaged 19.7 points, 3.7 rebounds and 1.9 assists a contest.

He did that while shooting a ridiculous 49% from 3-point range on 114 attempts, according to the 3SSB website. There was a game in May in which McDaniel dropped 38 points in just 24 minutes on the floor, going 8-for-8 from 3-point range.

Out of South Central Prep in Tulsa, McDaniel is a 6-foot-3 guard. He formerly played at Lincoln Christian.

McDaniel, the No. 79 overall player in the 2028 class, per the Rivals Industry ranking, making him a four-star prospect.

Along with his OSU offer, McDaniel has announced offers to Oklahoma, Kansas, Utah, West Virginia, Nebraska, Iowa, LSU and others.

McDaniel took on unofficial visit to Stillwater in February. He was in Gallagher-Iba Arena as the Pokes knocked off No. 16 BYU and the students rushed the floor.

Keaton Murry

Out of Putnam City-North, Murry is the No. 63 player in the Rivals Industry ranking for the 2028 class.

Listed at 6-foot-4, Murry plays his AAU ball with MoKan, the same program that produced Jalen Montonati and Class of 2027 OSU commit Tyson Pogi.

Playing in the 16u division of the EYBL circuit, Murry averaged 13.9 points, 4.1 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 1.5 steals a game this summer. In one game in June, Murry scored 19 points, going 8-for-10 from the field and 2-for-4 from 3-point range while also bringing down eight boards.

According to MaxPreps, Murry averaged 10.8 points a game as a sophomore at PC-North last season to go with 3.4 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.1 steals a game while shooting 33% from 3 and 80% from the foul line.

Along with his OSU offer, Murry has offers to OU, Indiana, TCU, Missouri and others.

PC-North competed at OSU’s team camp this summer. Here are a highlight reel from Murry’s time on the White Maple.
