OSU Cornerback Target, Former TCU Commit Making Official Visit This Week
Cowboys to roll out the orange carpet for Jahdae Barron.
OSU is set to continue its busy month later this week. After two bustling weeks filled with camps, this week brings a third camp — and more visitors.
Among the many recruits expected on campus is three-star cornerback recruit Jahdae Barron out of Austin, Texas and Pflugerville Connally High School. Barron, a 5-foot-11, 175-pound recruit in the 2020 class, was offered by the Cowboys in March.
Barron committed to TCU on March 7, and OSU offered on March 8. Over the span of the next month, Arizona and Tennessee both offered, leading to a decommitment from the Horned Frogs on April 22.
This will be Barron’s first official visit of the cycle so that could mean absolutely nothing (he can take five) or it could mean everything considering OSU seems to be in a decent spot in the wake of him opening back up his recruitment.
OSU has one commitment at corner in the 2020 class in DeSoto standout Jabbar Muhammad, and Barron, a bigger and bulkier product from a few hours down the road, could give the Pokes a wide variety of corners in the class.
