Travis makes his commitment after his official visit this past weekend at the TCU game. is the No. 36 ranked prospect in the 2021 class according to FloWrestling. Travis finished 7th at the Junior World Team trials this summer at 61 KG as only a high school junior.
The size fit for the Cowboys and Teague is about as good as it gets. They have two top notch lower weights coming for 2020 and an incredible group of upper weights. Travis is ranked No. 18 in the country at 138 pounds and projects in the 141-149 range.
This is a really solid early commitment for what should be another good class for 2021 as the Cowboys have some strong ties to many of the top talent in that group.
An interesting note: OSU football commit Monroe Mills was the heavyweight on Travis’ wrestling team.
