Oklahoma State Falls to No. 25 in College Football Playoff Rankings
Pokes barely hang in CFP top 25.
After a home Bedlam loss saw Oklahoma State fall out of the top 25 according to both AP and Coaches Poll voters, the Cowboys got a little more love from the College Football Playoff committee.
In the penultimate edition of the ranking that actually matters, the Cowboys fell to No. 25.
Here’s a look the CFP top 25 for Week 14.

Oklahoma and Baylor both move up with regular season finale victories setting up a 6 vs. 7 matchup for the Big 12 title game and, possibly, a playoff play-in game. Oklahoma’s path seems more clear but there’s a lot that can still change during this upcoming championship weekend.
The Cowboys have been included in every ranking by the committee this season (they started in Week 10) peaking at 21 which they held the previous two weeks before their Bedlam loss.
Ultimately what matters for OSU at this point is whether another Big 12 gets into the four-team playoff or not. That would move the rest of the bowl-bound conference teams up a spot. The final rankings, and subsequent bowl destinations, will be announced on Selection Sunday, Dec. 8 at 3 p.m. CST.
