It’s Bedlam week, but in place of an OSU game to recap (given the bye week), let’s start by looking at the handful of teams that were in action in the Big 12.
• It was the Battle for the Sixth Place, as West Virginia took care of TCU 24-6 in Morgantown.
2020 is weird:
• Texas Tech edged out Baylor 24-23 to remain just one position removed from Kansas at the bottom of the league.
But at least they had this.
OSU Bullets
• ESPN is headed to Norman for Bedlam. Oklahoma State is 0-6 against OU in GameDay games, hopefully the weirdness of 2020 will carry over into this weekend.
• Pistols Firing’s editorial staff looked ahead toward the OU game and has reason to feel good about the Cowboys’ chances.
• Hoops season is just around the corner (finally) and Marshall Scott wrote about Chris Harris and how he’s added value to OSU’s program in more ways than one.
• OSU Wrestling added another talented prospect to its lauded 2021 recruiting class.
Non-OSU Bullets
• A story about fathers, sons and baseball. [NY Post]
• How COVID’s work-from-home has changed the work place. [LA Times]
Book Rec: During this rare off week I started Stephen King’s On Writing: A Memoir of the Craft and it’s been thoroughly entertaining so far. Can’t wait to finish it.
