Bixby Sharpshooter Parker Friedrichsen Makes Unofficial Visit to Oklahoma State
An in-state sharpshooter made it to Stillwater this weekend.
Saturday was a busy one for Mike Boynton and Co. as the Cowboys look to secure the future of the program.
Five-star combo guard Bryson Warren wasn’t the only prospect on an unofficial visit to Oklahoma State, as Bixby standout Parker Friedrichsen also made the short trip over to Stillwater.
A class of 2023 sharpshooter, Friedrichsen picked up an Oklahoma State offer in July while showing out with the Tulsa Hawks on the AAU circuit. He has put up ridiculous state lines all summer like a 38-point performance in which he was 12-for-15 from 3. He also had a 32-point performance in April where he was 8-for-12 from 3.
Thus far, Friedrichsen hasn’t been included in the not-so-expansive 2023 rankings, but it’s only a matter of time. He holds offers from OSU, Oklahoma, Illinois, Iowa, Virginia Tech and others.
Along with this trip to Stillwater, Friedrichsen has also made stops at Oral Roberts, Iowa State, Nebraska, Omaha, Virginia Tech, Liberty and Oklahoma this summer.
The state of Oklahoma has a strong 2023 class on the hardwood. Del City’s Brandon Garrison is the No. 62 player in the class, and Norman North’s Jeremiah Johnson is the No. 65 player.
