Oklahoma State Makes Top List for Five-Star Center Aaron Bradshaw

Mike Boynton’s roots in the Northeast could help him land a big fish.

Aaron Bradshaw, a 7-foot center from New Jersey, released his Top 7 on Monday: Oklahoma State, Kentucky, Michigan, UCLA, Louisville, Maryland and the G League. Bradshaw is a five-star prospect in the 2023 class, ranking 24th nationally and second among centers.

Bradshaw made an official visit to Oklahoma State in November after the Cowboys’ staff offered last June. He plays his school ball at Camden High School in New Jersey. He is playing with NJ Scholars on Nike’s EYBL AAU circuit this offseason where he is averaging 12.3 points and 7.4 rebounds a game while shooting 66% from the field.

OSU’s staff has ties to the Northeast. Boynton grew up in Brooklyn while assistant coach Terrence Rencher is a native of the Bronx. Rencher was New York’s Mr. Basketball in 1991 before becoming Texas’ all-time leading scorer.

After Bixby sharpshooter Parker Friedrichsen decommitted from OSU last week, the Cowboys don’t have a commitment in the 2023 cycle (only two Big 12 programs do). But it’s an active time for OSU. This past weekend, the Cowboys had a pair of in-state four-star prospects on campus when they hosted 6-9 center Brandon Garrison and 6-8 wing Trent Pierce.
