Former Four-star Recruit Braylin Presley Entering Transfer Portal
Ruh-roh.
The first official day of the transfer portal opening up was a big one for OSU and the offensive side of the ball as former four-star recruit Braylin Presley joined QB Spencer Sanders in hitting the portal, according to the Tulsa World.
Presley was the fifth highest ranked signee in OSU’s 2022 class according to 247Sports rankings. A Bixby, Oklahoma, standout, he was an electric do-it-all playmaker who in high school set records as a receiver, running back and return weapon.
Presley joined OSU this year as the second Presley standout after big brother Brennan, also a receiver, joined the program in 2020. The younger Presley played sparingly in his true freshman season, though, recording five receptions for 26 yards and two total rushing attempts. He also had one return attempt for 19 yards, playing in seven total games.
His departure will leave OSU without a young and rising playmaker that likely would have served as a foundational piece in the return game and possibly in the slot in the future. OSU recruited him as an athlete despite playing both running back and receiver with the idea to use him in a Tyreek Hill-like role across the formation.
