Oklahoma State Offers Dual-Threat Quarterback Hauss Hejny
Hejny committed to Duke last month.
The Cowboys signed an Aledo, Texas wide receiver last week, and now they’re after the guy who threw him the ball.
Oklahoma State offered Hauss Hejny on Tuesday. Listed at 5-foot-11, 185 pounds, Hejny is a dual-threat QB who threw for 2,094 yards (many of which went to new OSU signee Jalen Pope), ran for 1,276 yards and was responsible for 35 touchdowns as a junior last season en route to a state championship. He is currently committed to Duke, a pledge he made on Jan. 24.
Hejny is the No. 534 player in the 2024 class, according to 247Sports’ Composite rankings, making him a three-star recruit. Along with OSU and Duke, he also has offers to play at TCU, Baylor, Nebraska, Cal and North Texas.
What Henjny might lack in height, he makes up for with his legs. Last spring Hejny recorded a 10.68 100-meter dash.
He becomes just the third 2024 quarterback OSU has offered, according to 247, joining Utah’s Isaac Wilson (younger brother of the NFL’s Zach Wilson) and Arizona’s Luke Moga.
