The 6-foot-1, 262-pound edge rusher spent the last three seasons at Troy, where he was named to the All-Sun Belt First Team in 2022 after leading the conference with 15.5 tackles for loss and placing third in sacks with eight.
Jackson was suspended for the first two games of 2023 due to violating undisclosed team rules but recorded 6.5 tackles for loss and 3.5 sacks, which earned him second-team honors. He has two years of eligibility remaining.
According to Fan Nation’s WVU page, Jackson is set to visit the Mountaineers, as well as Houston and Indiana, this week. He has announced offers from all three schools, as well as Texas A&M, Boston College and Jacksonville State. He’s reportedly planning to make his decision next week, according to the site.
