• Love this logic on hiring Steve Lutz from a college basketball analyst:
“If Lutz can get a few (transfers) to Oklahoma State, that’s a big deal. Having those multiple avenues for roster-building is highly ideal. The C-USA is a really good league that constantly produces transfers that come up to the high-major ranks and play well. Why not hire one of those coaches?”

• Alan Bowman sounds like a dad hanging around practice :
“I make jokes, everyone is like, ‘You were in eighth grade whenever I started my first game. You were in like seventh grade when I did that,’” Bowman said after the first day of pads.
• Reiterating a point from yesterday citing Mike Gundy’s words – that Kendall Daniels will be playing “closer to the ball” in 2024 (247 Sports)
• This “super league” of college football is unlikely but sounds like a lot of fun (HCS)
