Daily Bullets (June 27): Commitments for Everyone, Projecting the Cowboys Over Eight Wins
Thanks for stopping by – here’s your daily dose of Oklahoma State sports news.
OSU Bullets
• OSU’s revenue sports added two commitments yesterday – Cowboy Basketball added a big from inside the conference and Cowboy Football landed a commitment from a junior college defender (PFB)
• Cowboy Baseball added an SEC outfielder yesterday (PFB)
• CBS Sports has the Cowboys projected at over eight wins:
The Cowboys feature one of the strangest nonconference slates in the league, hosting FCS superpower South Dakota State and traveling to Tulsa. If OSU can handle that stretch better than last season, the Big 12 schedule provides plenty of opportunities. Oklahoma State gets Utah at home and should have a great year in Stillwater. The road slate has some 50/50 games (BYU, Baylor, TCU and Colorado) and we project them to split them. Pick: Over 8 (-120) [CBS Sports]
• Rickie Fowler could go for another win at the Rocket Mortgage Classic to spark his 2024 season (CBS Sports)
• OSU sold out their season football tickets (without OU on the schedule to boot):

Non-OSU Bullets
• 37 (or so) lessons from a 37 year old
• Thunder added two players last night – a prolific (and injured) point guard from Serbia and a sleeper at No. 26 Can’t decide if this is creepy or exhilarating and I’m a fan of the stability of family life but overall, what a fun concept for a young man:
Here’s my advice to single American men who feel hopeless about ever finding a good woman to marry: Take a month or two between jobs and drive across the USA. Stop at every gas station and truck stop, and eat every meal at diners during non-rush hours. Avoid cities; stop… pic.twitter.com/LA9fxxayQz
