He finished his career as a two-time All-American after placing fifth at 165 pounds last season. He finished his redshirt-senior campaign with a 30-7 record. He also placed third at his first and only Big 12 Wrestling Championships.
At Northern Illinois, Olejnik qualified for the NCAA Wrestling Championships four times and won a pair of MAC conference titles.
