Oklahoma State Releases 2024 Home Wrestling Schedule
The Cowboys will be in GIA seven times this season.
It’s now known when the David Taylor era will officially begin, at least in Stillwater.
Oklahoma State on Thursday announced its home schedule for the 2024-25 wrestling season, which includes seven duals. The Cowboys will host Wyoming, Arizona State, Virginia Tech, Air Force, NC State, West Virginia and Missouri.

It will be a battle between Cowboys for OSU’s home opener and Taylor’s Gallagher-Iba Arena debut on Friday, Nov. 22. The (real) Pokes have never lost to Wyoming in 28 meetings and have wrestled against the other Cowboys 15 of the past 16 seasons.
Then a few days later, Arizona State will visit Stillwater for the first time as a Big 12 member. The Sun Devils also made the same trip last season for a nonconference matchup, which OSU won 28-9.
The Cowboys will get extra comfortable in GIA with four home duals within a month in December and January. That includes dates with Virginia Tech, Air Force, NC State and West Virginia.
OSU will then save the best for last for Senior Day and its home finale against Missouri on Sunday, Feb. 2. That matchup will be the Cowboys’ biggest dual at GIA this season with Iowa and Oklahoma on the road.
Defending Big 12 champion Iowa State also already announced it will host OSU on Jan. 26. The rest of the Cowboys’ away dates will be announced later.
This season will be the first under Taylor, who replaced John Smith after his retirement. Smith retired with more dual wins than any coach in OSU history. Taylor, meanwhile, will guide a team through a dual schedule for the first time.
