Social Media Reaction: While Oklahoma State Got Thumped at Home, its Fans Went Nuclear

OSU Twitter has been dark, but it keeps getting darker.

The Cowboys dropped their third-straight and head into the bye week winless in the Big 12. For a team that came into this season with aspirations of winning a Big 12 title and making the expanded playoff, I don’t know that I can remember a more disappointing start to an Oklahoma State season. It’s going to be a long week off for the Pokes and their fans.

As has become the custom, let us commiserate through our thumbs and smartphones.

This pretty much sums it up.

The Cowboys got buried early, and we can blame the coaches, the offense, the defense. But give Garrett Greene his due. He was electric and kept OSU’s shorthanded defense on its heels.

The woeful offensive outing didn’t do anything to slow down unrest with the staff.

But it was not just an anemic offense. The Cowboys’ defense allowed TD drive after TD drive in the first half.

Let the people enjoy it when they get it.

The Cowboys will need to do some soul-searching on their bye week.

This hits hard.
