Nick Martin Accepts Invite to Reese’s Senior Bowl
Martin is the second Cowboy to accept a Senior Bowl invitation.
A pair of former Cowboys defenders will be featured in one of the major pre-draft exhibitions.
Former Oklahoma State linebacker Nick Martin has accepted an invitation to take part in the Reese’s Senior Bowl. He joins his teammate and fellow linebacker Collin Oliver, who accepted an invite back in November.

Martin earned star status in 2023 when he led the Big 12 in tackles and ranked second in tackles for loss. He was No. 3 among all FBS players with 83 solo takedowns. He also recorded six sacks, a pair of interceptions, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery. His 140 tackles were the most at OSU in four decades, and he headlined a trio of Cowboys with at least 100, along with Kendal Daniels and Trey Rucker.
Unfortunately, Martin suffered a season-ending in September, but he still finished fifth on the team with 47 total tackles in just five games. His 9.4 tackles per game would have ranked second in the Big 12. Martin announced that he would declare for the NFL Draft earlier this month.
All in all, six Cowboys were included on the Senior Bowl watch list, the two listed above as well as Dalton Cooper, Ollie Gordon II, Rashod Owens and Brennan Presley.
The Reese’s Senior Bowl will take place Saturday, Feb. 1, 2025 in Mobile, Alabama. The event kicks off at 1:30 p.m. CST and will be televised on the NFL Network.
