Three Thoughts

โ€ข While they’re surely post-season bound, doesn’t it feel like a disappointment to see the Cowgirls haveย justย an above-average season? (TulsaWorld)

โ€ข I’m team Nick Martin on rookie impact – cut from the same cloth as Malcolm Rodriguez, dude will tackle anything and can cover from sideline to sideline (PFB)

โ€ข It’s hard to imagine what the ideal offensive line rebuild looks like to replace the most experienced line in college football, but this sounds about as good as it gets:ย

When offensive line coachesย Cooper Bassettย and Andrew Mitchell were hired, they mostly had younger, inexperienced linemen on the roster. So they went to work in theย transfer portal.

In the winter window, the Cowboys signed three offensive line transfers and a JUCO prospect. This spring, that emphasis has continued as Oklahoma State signed two more Power Four linemen transfers before picking up another one this week.

Two Quotes

โ€ข If you were worried Ollie Gordon’s rough 2024 season would prohibit him from NFL impact, here’s his new head coach talking about him:ย

โ€œI think the โ€™23 tape was very impressive,โ€ Miami coach Mike McDaniel said after the draft. โ€œBased upon our interactions with him, we feel optimistic that is the version that weโ€™re gonna improve upon moving forward, which will be up to him and what he does with this opportunity.โ€

โ€ข This guy will have a chance to make an impact for the Cowboys in 2025:ย

One Question

โ€ข Which Cowboy will have the best rookie season?

“The person who learns the most in any classroom is the teacher.

If you really want to learn a topic, then โ€œteachโ€ it. Write a book. Teach a class. Build a product. Start a company.

The act of making something will force you to learn more deeply than reading ever will.”
