OSU offers a highly productive passer from a small town in Texas.
The Cowboys are in early on a quarterback from a small town in the Lone Star State.
Kase Evans announced an Oklahoma State offer on Wednesday. It’s the first Power Conference offer Evans has announced, as the Pokes join the likes of Texas State, Tulane, UTEP and others to offer him.

Listed at 6-foot-3, 198 pounds, Evans hails from Lexington, Texas, which is a town of about 1,300 people east of Austin. He led the Eagles to a 12-2 finish as a junior and an appearance in the Texas 3A-D2 state quarterfinals.
Evans threw for 3,113 yards and 37 touchdowns to just seven interceptions as a junior while running for another 180 yards and two scores. He also competes in track and field, with MileSplit crediting Evans with an 11.69 100-meter time and a 154-7 discus throw.
Evans visited Stillwater unofficially in April.
Oklahoma State’s 2026 class 20th nationally, according to 247Sports, and fourth in the Big 12. The Pokes are still in search of a quarterback in the class, though. OSU offered TCU commit Jack Daulton last week, and the Cowboys also have offers out to uncommitted prospects Oscar Rios (Downey, CA) and Luke Fahey (Mission Viejo, CA).
