Thanks for stopping by – here’s your daily dose of Oklahoma State sports news.

OSU Bullets

Cowboy freshman Jax Forrest and three others won titles at the Cyclone open – Forrest absolutely cruised to the final, taking out a 27-year-old former U23 world champion in the process (PFB)

The Cowgirls skunked a top-25 Iowa State squad at home yesterday, 86-58 (PFB)

Pokes added two Power Four transfers yesterday on the defensive side of the ball – a Washington defensive lineman and a defensive back from Mizzou. This tidbit on the defensive lineman was helpful context from the Washington side:

…and (Dominic) Macon were a bit surprising because they had only been on campus for less than a year and the coaches reportedly loved what Smith brought to the table while Macon probably needed another year or two before he would be a factor.  (247 Sports)

• ICYMI – what a fun moment at Gallagher-Iba on Saturday night when the Pokes eeked out a win over K-State (PFB)

• Wrestling note from Seth Duckworth here – OSU is surging up the board, but Penn State is still in a league of its own.
Penn State beating Iowa (that beat OSU 21-16 last year) 32-3 tells you what you need to know.
