OSU Bullets
• Pokes dropped a winnable game in Fort Worth last night, losing 68-65 to the Horned Frogs (PFB)
• The Pokes added a defensive lineman from Penn State yesterday (PFB)
• While the Pokes added another recruit today (see above), this breakdown of how OSU is likely to fill the remainder of its spots is helpful:
The pair gives OSU a national-high (52 with Penn State transfer) transfers incoming for the 2026 season. That number is still likely to rise somewhat, given 64 outgoing transfers. That discrepancy can be filled three ways: additional Portal commits, 2025 OSU players returning to OSU after entering the Portal or the upcoming “traditional” signing day for high school and junior college targets. Most likely, it will be a combination of those three things that get the new staff to a full roster for spring football. [OState Illustrated $$$]
• Cade Cunningham was named a starter for the 2026 NBA All-Star game (PFB)
• Nolan McLean listed as the NL East’s top prospect (CBS Sports)
• Wouldn’t this be amazing?
