Can the Cowgirls go 2-0 in the desert?

The Cowgirls continue their tour through the Grand Canyon State with a visit to Tempe to face the Sun Devils.

Oklahoma State (18-5, 7-3) will square off against Arizona State (18-5, 5-5) for a game with plenty of implications both in the Big 12 and beyond. Every conference game matters, but especially at this point in the season.

Two weeks ago, both teams were jockeying in the middle of the pack. Since then, the Cowgirls have trended up, while the Sun Devils stumbled in the middle of league play.

Trending up 📈:  After starting 2-2 in league play, the Cowgirls have won five of six and are just one-half game out of a tie for second place with still eight games to go.

Trending down 📉: The Sun Devils, on the other hand, started 3-1 and then were 4-2 in Big 12 play but have lost three of their last four. They are still a tough team in Tempe. They just lost their first home game of the season to Kansas State on Sunday.

Of note: This is just the second meeting between the two programs, with the first one coming in an 83-71 Cowgirl win in Stillwater just over a year ago.
