A second Cowboy has announced his return for the 2026-27 season.

With Parsa Fallah going down with injury, Ahmed started getting a lot more run late in the year and took advantage of it. He scored in double figures in four of OSU’s final six games.

Davidson had a particularly tough time containing the 6-foot-10, 275-pound Ahmed, as he powered to 16 points and six boards in the first round of the NIT.

Ahmed came to OSU as a four-star recruit, with 247Sports listing him as the No. 111 player in the 2025 recruiting class and a Top 20 center in the cycle. He had initially committed to Miami before a coaching change saw him reopen his recruitment and come to Stillwater.

Although he’s from Kogi State, Nigeria, Ahmed played high school ball at Putnam Science Academy in Connecticut, where he finished as the program’s all-time leading scorer and rebounder.

With Ahmed’s recommitment, only Andrija Vukovic, Mekhi Ragland and Ryan Crotty have not announced decisions on their futures. Meanwhile, Daniel Guetta, Vyctorius Miller, Jaylen Curry, Robert Jennings II and Isaiah Coleman have all entered the transfer poral.
