OSU Bullets
• Another big-time W for Cowgirl Softball last night – the Cowgirls beat top-five Texas on the road, 5-0:
The past week as seen the Cowgirls beat No. 1 OU, take two of three off No. 16 Arizona and now beat No. 4 Texas in Austin. [PFB]
Cowboy Basketball roster movement update – the Pokes landed a stretch big from a conference foe + freshman big Mekhi Ragland announced he’s returning (PFB) It’s wild to look at what Jacie Hoyt has done with the Cowgirls roster with recent additions:
(They’ve added) seven players and 123 points per game. I know there’s only one basketball, but, geez. This is talent with the capability of doing what TCU did two years ago — jumping from a solid program to one that can challenge for a deep run in the NCAA Tournament. It’s the one thing Hoyt hasn’t done in four seasons and three NCAA Tournament appearances. The Cowgirls have won one NCAA Tournament game in her tenure. [HCS]
Marcus Smart played a crucial role in the Lakers taking a 2-0 lead in the first round of the playoffs (PFB) • Mike Gundy update – purchasing a Mule down in southeastern Oklahoma.
