The real meat and potatoes of official visit season for the 2027 recruiting class gets rolling in the month of May, as Eric Morris and Co. look to put together their first full recruiting class in Stillwater.

OSU enters May with one 2027 pledge — Iowa Colony (TX) quarterback Carson White.

Here’s a look at four guys who have announced official visits for the month of May.

Brennan Lacey, RB

Rivals’ Sam Spiegelman announced announced Thursday that Frisco running back Brennen Lacey will visit Stillwater May 28 before also visiting LSU (June 5), Miami (June 12) and Notre Dame (June 19) — not bad company for the Pokes.

Listed at 6-foot-1, 190 pounds, Lacey is the No. 596 player in the 247Sports Composite ranking for the class, which makes him the No. 41 running back and No. 87 Texan in the cycle. Along with offers to those schools he is visiting, he’s also accumulated offers to Florida, Florida State, Ohio State, Texas Tech and others.

The Cowboys were in early on Lacey’s potential, as the Pokes were his second Division-I offer back in February, trailing only Oregon State. He then visited Stillwater unofficially in March.

According to MaxPreps, Lacey had 537 rushing yards and eight touchdowns on 59 carries across nine games as a junior. He also caught 10 passes for another 160 yards and two more scores.

Lacey also excels on the track, with MileSplit crediting him with a 10.91 100 meters and 22.73 200 meters last year. He had a 6-foot high jump and a 22-4 long jump.

Javian Jones-Priest, RB

Jones-Priest is a 5-foot-10, 194-pound back from Arlington-Martin High School. He posted back in March that he’ll visit Stillwater from May 29-31.

The Rivals Industry Ranking and 247Sports Composite Ranking consider him a four-star prospect with that 247 ranking listing Jones-Priest as the No. 27 running back in the cycle and the No. 49 player from Texas.

He’s also announced offers to Oregon, Baylor, Kansas State, SMU and others.

Jones-Priest carried 144 times as a junior, according to MaxPreps, for 1,154 yards and 12 touchdowns while catching seven passes for another 37 yards. He’s also a track star, being credited with a 10.71 100-meter dash last year and has already been clocked at 21.68 in the 200 this year.

Noah Gillespie, CB

An in-state standout out of Broken Arrow, Gillespie is a 5-11, 180-pound defensive back who will be in Stillwater from May 29-31.

He’s the No. 724 player in the 247Sporst Composite ranking. Gillespie also has visits scheduled to Kansas State, UCLA and Iowa State and other offers to Arizona, Auburn, TCU, Missouri, SMU and others.

He ran a 10.89 100-meter dash earlier this month and was credited with 31 tackles, a tackle for loss and a pair of picks in seven games in his junior season (looks like MaxPreps didn’t have the full year’s stats for Broken Arrow).

Braxton Daniel, TE

A basketball-playing tight end from Jenks, Daniel is set to be in Stillwater at the end of the month, as well.

He’s unranked by the major services to this point, but it’s only a matter of time if you look at his offer sheet with also includes SMU, Duke, Arizona, Baylor, Utah, West Virginia, Iowa State and others.

He’s listed at 6-foot-4, 210 pounds and was an absolute weapon for the Trojans as a junior.
