Official: Oklahoma State Releases Nonconference Basketball Schedule

No more piecing together reports — the Oklahoma State nonconference basketball schedule is officially here.

Oklahoma State released the noncon schedule on Friday via a video that showed off some campus beauty.

Nov. 6 (Friday) — vs. Queens

That’s a lot of games in the confines of Oklahoma’s borders, with OSU set to leave the state for just four of those games (and one is an exhibition).

OSU’s 2026-27 season officially starts Nov. 2 when welcoming Incarnate Word to town. This will be the program’s first meeting, but there are some links between the schools. Steve Lutz began his coaching career as an assistant at UIW, while new OSU football coach Eric Morris had his first head coaching job there.

The Charleston Classic will see the Cowboys play two of Dayton, Minnesota, Northwestern, Utah and Virginia Tech.

The Bedlam doubleheader in Paycom Center marks the 252nd all-time meeting between OU and OSU on the hardwood, while OSU’s trip to Tulsa just over a week later to play Northwestern will be the Cowboys’ third game in BOK Center and first since 2019.

Lutz and Co. have rebuilt the Cowboys’ roster this offseason, and the Cowboys’ preseason trip to Puerto Rico provided some offseason excitement for what looks to be Lutz’s best OSU roster to date.
