It wasn’t the greatest of weekends for the current Cowboys, but how did future Cowboys do?

Here’s a roundup of how Oklahoma State commits performed in their high school games this past weekend, with highlights and stats included when available.

Ake O’Neal / WR / Argyle (1-1) / Texas

Height: 6-3

Ake O’Neal was a big-play machine in Argyle’s 55-27 win against Terrell this past weekend.

The Cowboy receiver commit brought in eight passes for 138 yards and a touchdown and also had a 27-yard kick return.

O’Neal’s Argyle Eagles play Somerset Academy Lossee (Nevada) this weekend.


Cooper Hooker / WR / Pryor (1-1) / Oklahoma

Height: 5-9

Pryor was in a good, old-fashioned shootout with Coweta but fell 45-43.

Hooker had a big game, and that started early as he scored on a 41-yard reception on the first play from scrimmage.

Looking for a bounce-back, Pryor travels to Fort Smith-Southside (Arkansas) this weekend.


Carson White / QB / Hightower (0-2) / Texas

Height: 6-2

Carson White’s squad fell in overtime to Cypress Springs 33-30.

White completed a dozen passes for 259 yards, a touchdown and an inception and also had 17 rushing yards in the game.

Hightower hosts Foster (1-1) this weekend.

The Choctaw Yellowjackets fell to 0-2 this weekend, dropping a game to Moore 28-21.

MaxPreps didn’t have stats for Choctaw, but Hammons shared a highlight of a 20-yard run (because the throw was a lateral).

In search of their first win, the Yellowjackets travel to Union (0-2) this weekend.

Lewis’ Bolingbrook Raiders beat Yorkville 20-7.

MaxPreps didn’t have stats, but Lewis shared a highlight reel from the game, showing some nice cuts and hard runs.

Sonny Mullen’s Troy Trojans remained unbeaten with a 45-28 win against Mexia.

Behind Mullen, Troy threw for 213 yards and ran for 191. Mullen was credited with four pancakes, bringing his two-game total up to a nice, even 10.

Troy takes on Groesbeck (2-0) this weekend.


Bryson Brown / DB / Broken Arrow (2-0) / Oklahoma

Broken Arrow took it to Union this weekend, winning 41-14. That’s the largest margin of victory for Broken Arrow in the Tulsa-based rivalry.
