Oklahoma State Receiving Votes in AP Poll
Breaking down the updated AP Poll.
The Cowboys are the fifth team out of the updated AP Poll following their blowout win against Murray State this weekend.
Oklahoma State tallied 50 points in the poll, which put the Pokes as a would-be No. 30. That’s one spot behind Oklahoma (91 points) and two spots behind the Cowboys’ Week 4 opponent, West Virginia (93 points).

The Mountaineers knocked Virginia out of the poll this weekend when WVU beat the then-No. 25 Cavaliers 38-27 in Charlotte. West Virginia is 3-0 for the first time since 2018.
Oregon, who the Cowboys beat in Week 2, moved up one spot to No. 20 this week after the Ducks crushed Portland State 84-0.
Tulsa, who beat the Cowboys in Week 1, is also in the receiving votes category with 18 points. The Golden Hurricane thumped East Texas A&M 42-0 this weekend without starting quarterback Baylor Hayes.
The Big 12 has four ranked teams in No. 9 BYU, No. 11 Texas Tech, No. 15 Utah and No. 25 Houston, with the latter Cougars staying in despite their loss in Lubbock this weekend. Arizona (10 points) and Kansas State (3 points) join OSU and WVU in the receiving votes category.
