The Cowboys were productive in their rest.

Oklahoma State is up one spot to No. 18 in the newly released AP Poll.

The Cowboys jumped USC (a team that beat Washington 25-21 in Los Angeles) and Iowa (a team that lost at home to Ohio State 31-14). Missouri leap frogged OSU, and a lot of others, after beating Florida 45-17.

Here is the poll in full:

Rank
1 Texas

So, the Cowboys are one of five ranked Big 12 teams, joining No. 8 BYU, No. 11 Texas Tech, No. 12 Utah and No. 22 Houston. Of those squads, OSU plays at Houston on Oct. 17 and hosts Texas Tech on Nov. 14. Arizona is also in the receiving votes category. The Cowboys also don’t play the Wildcats this season.

Oregon, OSU’s big Week 2 win, is up two spots to No. 13 while it’s been on a bye.

The Cowboys are still on the outside looking in on the Coaches Poll, sitting atop the receiving votes category. The poll features four Big 12 teams: No. 8 BYU, No. 9 Texas Tech, No. 12 Utah and No. 19 Houston. It has the Ducks at No. 13.
