Daily Bullets (Nov. 2): Pokes Favored and Kick Time Released

• OSU is favored by six points over K-State, ESPN’s numbers have the Pokes winning by two, 31-29 (Google Sheets)

• Kick time released for OSU’s game against Kansas State (X)

• Former Cowboy Nolan McLean won a Golden Glove yesterday (CBS Sports)

• Love being optimistic but this feels like the warranted take on the Cowboy defense – apparently not a defensive coordinator issue and keeps looking worse than anticipated.

Iowa State had 581 yards of total offense — another season-high. For those reasons and more, I’m losing (or maybe has lost?) faith in what I once thought was a better-than-anticipated OSU defense. [PFB] And it’s not like Iowa State is some offensive juggernaut. The Cyclones had been held to 17 or less in three of their four previous Big 12 games. Even with Saturday’s result, the Cyclones rank 14th in the Big 12 in scoring. [PFB]
