The Cowboys flipped their fourth commitment in the last week.

Gabriel Brooks, a 2027 offensive tackle from Fort Worth announced that he was decommitting from TCU and heading instead to Stillwater to be a Cowboys via his X account on Tuesday. Brooks committed to hometown school TCU back in September.

The 6-foot-4.5, 275-pound hails from North Crowley High School. He had 10 total offers including Stephen F. Austin to which he was originally committed until July. That’s when the Horned Frogs represented his first Power Four offer. Then the Cowboys offered on Oct. 14 and now a little over two weeks late he’s flipped again.

Brooks is a three-star prospect according to 247Sports, the No. 113 offensive tackle in the class and the No. 186 overall Texas prep. He is the 17th pledge in OSU’s 2027 class and the fourth offensive line commitment.

His decision moves the Cowboys to No. 53 recruiting class in the nation according to 247Sports and the No. 9 class in the Big 12.

Brooks is the fourth flip from a Power Four school in the last week. The Pokes landed former Iowa State edge DJ Williams, former Mississippi State corner commit J’Lynnd Kellow, and former Baylor LB commit Bryson Brown all in the last six days.

Take a look at Brooks’ senior season highlights.
