Watch Mike Gundy Announce Scholarships to Three Former Walk-Ons
This is pretty great. Mike Gundy handed out scholarships to former walk-ons Blake Jarwin, Brad Lundblade and Chad Whitener on Tuesday to much clamor from the rest of the OSU football program.
“Walk-ons have always been special to our coaching staff and myself,” said Gundy.
“Walk-ons have always had a special place in my heart because they’re willing to say ‘I’m going to find a way to pay for school, I’m going to find a way to eat, I’m going to find somewhere to live. I’m going to get to practice on time … I’m going to do it because I love football.”
