James Anderson Wants Out
Well this is a headline I never thought I’d be writing.
According to the following tweet from Buck Harvey of the San Antonio Express-News, Anderson has basically told the white hot Spurs he wants to play basketball elsewhere:

It’s understandable, given the fact that the 20th pick of the 2010 draft is averaging 11 minutes a game but indefensible if you, like I, believe in people playing out their contracts and honoring their word.
Honestly, I’m disappointed in him for this. Yes, you’re a former All-American and no, you aren’t playing a lot, but you’re in one of the five best organizations in the league and on one of the six or so teams with a shot at the 2012 title. Just play out the remainder of your contract, sign somewhere else this summer (the Spurs have declined a club option for $1.6M for next season), and move on with life.
Of course if the Thunder can somehow grab him just forget I ever said any of this. #TradeDemands4Ever!
Also, maybe he doesn’t want out for basketball reasons, we’ve been here before with Tony Parker.
