Cowboys Not Trading for QB, Brandon Weeden Will Start in Tony Romo’s Absence
According to Adam Schefter, the Cowboys will not look to trade for RG3 (which would be absolutely absurd) or Tebow (which would be more absurd) or anyone else in the NFL. They’ll simply ride Brandon Weeden until Romo can return.
“This is the first time I’ve had the same coordinator two years in a row since seventh grade,” Weeden told the Dallas Morning News. “My comfort level is much higher than a year ago. I look forward to the challenge, but I feel terrible for Tony. I know how hard he has worked.”
If Sunday is any indication, this might not be a bad thing for America’s team.
