Texas Player Gets American Sniper Treatment, He’s Actually out 6-8 Weeks
https://www.youtube.com/watch?t=1&v=Yvc-APDg7PA
I am confused. This Texas player is pretty clearly faking an injury (as the hilarious mashup above shows), but it’s also been announced that he’s out 6-8 weeks. Did he injure himself later on? Did he injure himself on the actual fall?
I think the most likely scenario is that he hurt his shoulder the play before, was coming off and was told to use a real injury (albeit not to his legs) as an excuse to fall to the ground to stop Cal.
Hey, at least Texas won’t have to worry about faking injuries to stop OSU’s speedy offense. If we’re hurrying, it’s either a draw or a screen to the sideline.
LB Ed Freeman tells me he is out 6-8 weeks with shoulder injury. Will have X-ray today to decide if surgery needed.
