The $750 Shoe Rejection
Yesterday, an OSU cornerback, the always-entertaining-on-Twitter and man of many tastes, Yves Batoba (pronounced EE-v) harmlessly fired off this tweet at one Mr. eighty five:

I follow Yves but as a connoisseur of mostly boots, cleats, and Mizuno running shoes, I had no idea what a “Louboutin” was. After a quick search of the Googles I realized it was a way-too-rich-for-my-blood designer shoe, the cheapest of which costs upwards of $750.
Also known as my 2011 tax return.
Strangely enough, Ocho tweeted back at Yves a few minutes later (apparently from the toilet):

A seminal moment in the Twitter life of a collegiate football player, no doubt, but Yves wisely declined the offer:

To which Ocho acknowledged the power the NCAA still has over him, a power that Bill Belichick can’t seem to tap into:

And Yves got one last jab in at the NCAA, which I loved:

Totally a #StudentAthleteProb:
