This Mason Rudolph Sack Was (Somehow) Ruled a Safety
How?
West Virginia averages 38.5 points a game. In the first half against Oklahoma State, they scored just two. And they came via a safety of Mason Rudolph. I’m still not sure it was a safety. Here’s a look (ignore my mouse).
And here’s the very moment his knee touched down. Notice where the ball is. That’s not a touchdown if Rudolph is going the other way, right? How is it a safety if he’s going this way?
And here’s the fall in action so you can see his knee touch.
