Tramal Ivy Enjoying Big Year for No. 3 Butler County
Tramal Ivy, a three-star defensive end who is committed to Oklahoma State, is having a breakout season for No. 3 Butler County Community College.
Ivy led the team this weekend with 11 tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss, and a sack. Through 8 games, he has 2.5 sacks and three forced fumbles for Butler County. As October has rolled around, Ivy has come alive. Last week, he forced two fumbles and a sack; peaking just in time for a a big matchup with No. 1 Coffeyville this weekend.
With the expected early departure of Emmanuel Ogbah and the exhaustion of eligiblity for Jimmy Bean, Ivy may play a large role in a defensive end rotation next year that will be sprinkled with young talent.
Sophomores Jarrell Owens, Trey Carter, and Jordan Brailford should all see a boost in playing time next year. Ivy, who is a 6-foot-4, 220-pound end, may be the most ready to step in to a larger role of the bunch.
Hey Tramal, what did you think of the Red River Rivalry this weekend?
