Candlelight Vigil Held in Stillwater for Homecoming Tragedy
Candles are being lit and names are being read near the Student Union in Stillwater tonight. That’s a good thing, of course, because community is never stronger than when tragedy strikes. But it’s also a sad time of remember that four humans lost their lives on Saturday.
I don’t really know how to present any of this to you guys other than to point to different things that are happening and that seem newsworthy. Editorializing it feels empty. I’m proud of everyone for dropping $30K on the mom of the 2-year-old who was killed. That’s big time. I love it.
So yeah … enjoy your Sunday evening. Remember what’s important. And we’ll get back at it on Monday bright and early.
