Oklahoma State and TCU Have Won a Combined 26 Games in a Row

There are 10 college football teams left — 118 have a loss, 10 do not. It’s astonishing as an OSU fan to think about the implications there. Only eight of those 10 are Power 5 schools: Baylor, Clemson, LSU, Ohio State, Michigan State, Iowa, TCU and the Pokes. What a world.

Even crazier? TCU and OSU are bringing the second and sixth-longest winning streaks respectively in the country into this game.

TCU: 16
Memphis: 15
Michigan State: 12
Clemson: 11
Oklahoma State: 10

That’s 26 straight games these two teams combined have won. The last loss both of them had? At Baylor during the 2014 season.

David Glidden said this week that the plan hasn’t changed.

“It really does stay the same,” said Glidden. “Coach Gundy does a good job of putting that in our heads and we just go out there and do our jobs. We just have to win out in practice every day and that’s all we can do. You study film on your own, do all the little things that you can do and in the end it’s going to give you and your football team an advantage.

“I don’t think there is any added pressure to this because we knew going into the season that November was going to be a difficult stretch and if we could make it to this point, we’d have a shot and that’s really all we could ask for.”
