Five-star LB Will Make Official Visit for Bedlam
The linebacker position has been one of strength for the greater part of this season, but with the loss of Ryan Simmons the depth has been somewhat concerning over the last several weeks. The depth is a bit concering, and the coaching staff is making efforts to replenish talent at the position with commitments from Devin Harper and Amen Ogbongbemiga. But they still have goals to firm up the middle with young talent in this 2016 recruiting cycle.
LB Devante Averette and Ryan Simmons will not be part of the team next year after exhausting their eligibility, and Seth Jacobs will be going into his final season of eligibility – so they are looking for someone who could make an early impact.
Look no further than five-star linebacker and former USC commit Mique Juarez. Juarez is the No. 2 ranked LB prospect in the country, and the No. 16 overall recruit in the nation in the 2016 class.
Juarez made an official visit to Norman last week, but tells Scout.com that he will make an official visit to Stillwater for Bedlam.
“This weekend I’m going to Oklahoma State to see them play Oklahoma. They are losing a lot of linebackers,” he told Scout.
Check out his highlight reel and you’ll see pretty quickly why he is one of the most sought after prospect in the 2016 recruiting class.
